Philadelphian Thomas Say was a member of the Academy of Natural Sciences, which published his classic book American Entomology between 1824 and 1828. The Rosenbach has fifteen copper printing plates for Vol. 3 of the book, many of which were drawn by Titian Peale, so gaining printed volumes to correspond to these plates is a welcome addition.
