Updates and information on The Rosenbach’s response to COVID-19

Updated November 17, 2020

To the members of The Rosenbach community,

The Rosenbach and the Free Library continue to follow Philadelphia Department of Public Health, city, state, and federal health guidelines to help manage the spread of COVID-19. This means that The Rosenbach’s museum and garden, along with all Free Library locations, will be closed to the public effective Friday, November 20, in order to best protect our staff and visitors.

The Rosenbach relies on ticket purchases and contributions from individuals to meet its mission. During this unexpected closure, we ask that ticket purchases be re-designated as contributions to sustain our operations. We will be delighted to formally acknowledge your contribution when we reopen.

If you would like a refund on a ticket purchase, please contact [email protected]Please be aware that refunds rely on staff availability and may take several days to process. We appreciate your patience.  Thank you so much for your support of The Rosenbach and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Throughout the coming weeks, stay tuned to our resource page for further updates in this ever-evolving situation along with digital resources to access our collection.

Thank you so much for your support and your care for each other and our community during this uncertain time — we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Warmly,

Derick Dreher, Ph.D.

The John C. Haas Director, The Rosenbach
