Description

A rollicking afternoon of song, beer, and mead as we welcome back George Hart (our brewer for last year’s Beowulf Mead-Aloud and this April’s Canterbury Tales) with specially brewed offerings honoring Melville’s life as a sea voyager.  Sam Adams and Jim Klingler will sing and play nautical tunes and lead the crowd in a few sing-a-longs.  And you’ll be able to see our exhibition, American Voyager: Herman Melville at 200.  No sailing experience necessary, but harpooneers are especially welcome.

  • Admission includes entry and two glasses of ale, plus a commemorative glass.
