Bibliococktails: Christopher Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus

Date / Time

  • May 10, 2019
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location

2008-2010 Delancey Place, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19103, United States

Description

Faustus’ bargain with Mephistopheles did not turn out so well for the learned doctor, but Marlowe’s play is still an engaging work about magic, art, and the boundaries of knowledge. We’ll see what devils of our own we can conjure.  As Faustus said to the vision of Helen, “Make me immortal . . . with a cocktail!”

Featured Cocktail

The featured cocktail will be inspired by the mystical arts of Faustus.
