Join the Rosenbach’s Director of Outreach & Engagement, Dr. Alexander Lawrence Ames, and fellow members on a literary voyage exploring the Rosenbach’s new, thought-provoking permanent exhibition gallery, Treasures from the Rosenbach’s Collection: Literature of Great Britain & Ireland. Curated by Dr. Ames, the display features Geoffrey Chaucer, William Shakespeare, Robert Burns, Phillis Wheatley, Ignatius Sancho, the African diaspora and the history of empire, Oscar Wilde and LGBT literature, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes, Lewis Carroll, Bram Stoker and Dracula, as well as James Joyce and Ulysses.
