Description

Venture boldly into Bram Stoker’s handwritten notes as we explore what it took to create this (almost) inexorable villain. The Rosenbach Museum & Library is home to Bram Stoker’s notes for  Dracula, over 100 pages of outlines, early plot ideas, and research notes compiled by the author over the seven years he developed and wrote the novel. You’ll discover how he first conceived what has become the ur-text of vampire stories and see how he altered this vision in composing his most famous (and diabolical) work.
