Proceeds from the Rosenbacchanal benefit our incredible collection and help us continue to provide exciting exhibitions and programs that explore and celebrate it. This year journey with us to the 1920s, when the Rosenbach brothers built the foundation of the peerless collection we know today. Enjoy an infamous Rosenbach brothers party as A.S.W. and Philip regale us with tales of audacious deals and literary feats.

We’ll read a story together and then embark on a treasure hunt through the Rosenbach brothers’ glitzy Rittenhouse Square home to discover things that relate to the story. Afterward, families are welcome to join us in our activity room for hands-on art making activities, creative play, music and snacks.

Singing Whitman: Songs from the Drinker Collection with Craft Works Music

Working in conjunction with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s archives, Craft Works music, in partnership with the Rosenbach Museum, presents a program of choral works drawn from the Drinker Collection set to and inspired by the poetry of American Transcendentalist Walt Whitman. This program, celebrating the bicentennial of the poet’s birth, explores the legacy of Whitman and his enduring presence in art and music. Come enjoy the offerings of the guest speaker and the singers of Craft Works.

Shakespeare Free Read-Aloud Group: Love’s Labour’s Lost
