Request for Proposal for Professional Illustration Services Rosenbach Museum & Library  

Introduction

The Rosenbach Museum & Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking to obtain paid services of a professional illustrator for an illustration to be used in print and web advertisements for its preschool program. This RFP is open to anyone.   

Background

During the Rosenbach’s monthly preschool program, children aged 2 to 4 and their caregivers listen to a story, go on a treasure hunt through the Rosenbach brothers’  Rittenhouse Square home to discover things that relate to the story and then participate in hands-on art making activities, and creative play. We are looking for an illustration that captures the playful and creative spirit of this program. 

Timeline

  • July 14: RFP issued  
  • August 16: Submissions due  
  • August 18: RFP awarded  
  • September 15: Illustration due 

RFP Requirements

Submissions should include a portfolio of work; portfolios may be digital or print. Please indicate if your rate is hourly or by project. Please indicate if you offer a reduced nonprofit rate. A contract will be signed between the Rosenbach and the illustrator that will outline services required, fees charged and payment schedule.
