On the final day of Mary Shelley’s life, she elicits her daughter in law’s help to preserve her memory and legacy… and discovers that there may be more than one way to tell the truth. Mary Shelley is a solo performance created by actor Jennifer Summerfield.
About the performer
Jennifer Summerfield is an actor based in Philadelphia. Her recent work has focused on theater adapted from works of literature, such as Daphne du Maurier’s “My Cousin Rachel,” Joseph Heller’s “Catch-22,” Douglas Adams’ “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,” Homer’s “Odyssey,” Kafka’s “The Trial,” Jane Austen’s “Sense and Sensibility,” and Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s “The Yellow Wallpaper.”
