Poke is a diced raw fish dish that originates in Hawaii and has recently gained popularity in the U.S. mainland. Kiki and Chris will demonstrate the process of preparing poke and share more about the history of this unique recipe. This program is presented in partnership with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Culinary Literacy Center.

This program is presented alongside Manjiro: Drifting, 1841–2020
