The Rosenbach presents creative programming, unparalleled exhibitions, and comprehensive research services to people in Philadelphia and beyond. Founded in 1954 by renowned rare-book dealer Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach and his brother Philip, The Rosenbach boasts one of the world’s most distinctive and valuable collections of rare books, manuscripts, and art and an exceptional annual schedule of programs inspired by it.

The Delancey Society provides The Rosenbach with essential financial support at the highest levels. In turn, The Rosenbach offers Delancey Society members exclusive access to a variety of experiences all year round.

James Joyce Circle: $20,000 and up

Bram Stoker Circle: $10,000 and up

  • Invitation for two to an “In Conversation With” dinner
  • Opportunity to host a reception for up to 15 people in The Rosenbach’s historic house with Director Derick Dreher (catering excluded)

Marianne Moore Circle: $5,000 and up

  • Opportunity to host a private, curator-led tour of The Rosenbach for up to eight people
  • Invitations to annual “Delancey Society Travels” trips featuring private tours of local/regional rare-book collections

Joseph Conrad Circle: $2,500 and up
