Description

Many of us know the story A Christmas Carol by heart, but when was the last time you read this classic winter tale? Join us for a deep read and group discussion of the spookiest Christmas story. Tuition includes admission to a performance of A Christmas Carol by the Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, which will take place at the Rosenbach on Thursday, December 14.

About the Instructor

Edward G. Pettit is the Sunstein Family manager of public programs at the Rosenbach. Known to many local literature lovers as the “Philly Poe Guy,” Edward G. Pettit has been a writer, a book reviewer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and a professor at La Salle University for the last ten years. In 2012, he was the Charles Dickens Ambassador for the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Charles Dickens bicentenary celebrations.
