Description

Readers may beg for relief (can’t you just draw cute animals?), but editorial cartoonists on both the left and right have fixed their pens on the new president. Signe Wilkinson, editorial cartoonist for the Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Philly.com, will show cartoons and discuss the challenges of wrestling our Commander in Chief onto a 4×6 rectangle without forgetting the part that Democrats had to play.

Signe Wilkinson is an editorial cartoonist best known for her work at the Philadelphia Daily News. She is the first female cartoonist to win the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning (1992) and served as president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists from 1994 to 1995.
