Description

The Nobel Prize for Literature is arguably the most important literary prize a writer can receive for their full body of work. The Rosenbach Museum & Library is home to the work of more than a handful of Nobel laureates, and in this BTB we’ll examine three: Toni Morrison (1993), William Faulkner (1949), and William Butler Yeats (1923). These three writers couldn’t be more different from one another, and yet the Rosenbach has collected all three. Get up close to manuscripts, typescripts, and first editions written by these lauded authors, learn more about their lives, what inspired their creativity and how, when and why they all came to be here at the Rosenbach.
