Hedgerow Theatre is gearing up to do the clever comedy The Importance of Being Earnest by the irreverent Oscar Wilde. As a sneak peek, we are bringing a scene with a few of our core company actors to the Rosenbach museum. Our Barrymore award-winning director, Dan Hodge, will also be in attendance to give insight to the direction of the play as well as what excites him about Wilde’s language. The play runs May 3rd to May 27 at Hedgerow Theatre and is sure to be hilariously witty in the way only Wilde can be. Come see our committed troupe of actors bounce from pun to pun as we preview this spirited play at the Rosenbach! This performance will be followed by a talkback with the actors and director Dan Hodge (who performed his solo adaptation of The Rape of Lucrece at the Rosenbach in March).
