Inspired by Colette Fu’s moveable book “Uyghur Food,” we will take a virtual trip into the kitchen of chef Ahmet Mamud as he prepares a traditional Uyghur meal and gives us background on the cuisine. Participants will receive recipes and tips on where to purchase the ingredients so that they can prepare the dishes at home.  The program will also include a look at the artwork that inspired the program and a brief overview of book artist Colette Fu’s artistic journey.
