Description

What is that makes James Joyce’s Ulysses one of the most challenging novels of the 20th century? How do we, nearly one hundred years later, unravel some of the stylistic and narrative challenges it presents? Join cartoonist and Joyce scholar Robert Berry in a welcoming discussion-based environment with unparalleled access to primary resource materials from our own collection as well his ongoing research into adapting the novel. First-time Ulysses readers and returning fans alike are welcome and encouraged.

This Ulysses Reading Group meets every first Sunday of the month from October through June. A schedule confirmation and syllabus will be available closer to the start date.
