For Release: Immediately

PHILADELPHIA, FEBRUARY 1, 2023 —The Rosenbach Museum & Library is pleased to announce that Daniel Levine and Melissa Greenberg have been appointed to the Board of Directors, as of December 15, 2022. Read more about them below!

Daniel Levine

Daniel Levine joins the board as an attorney with Cozen O’Connor, strengthening the Rosenbach’s decades long relationship with the law firm; many lawyers from Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen, the firm that advised the Rosenbach brothers for decades, were brought onto Cozen when it dissolved. Joining the firm in 2018, Dan specializes in the Private Client, Trusts, and Estates group. Since 2015, he has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars List for Estate Planning & Probate.

Dan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and his law degree from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University. At Drexel, he graduated with honors from the Business Entrepreneurship Law Program and was a recipient of the Law Trustee Scholarship. Dan also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning from the School of Law Graduate Tax Program at Villanova University. He is a board member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and is most interested in the Rosenbach’s American history holdings.

Melissa Greenberg

Melissa Greenberg is well known at the Rosenbach, particularly for her leadership during the merger with the Free Library Foundation in 2013. Formerly the Vice President for Development at the Free Library, Melissa is now the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Chief Philanthropy Officer at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute for Religion.

Melissa brings extensive experience within the philanthropic landscape, having served on the boards of the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Fleisher Art Memorial, Adath Israel on the Main Line, and the Lantern Theater Company. In joining the Rosenbach Board of Directors, Melissa brings strong organizational leadership and fundraising experience, which will guide the Rosenbach as we grow our community. Melissa earned her undergraduate degree in Art History and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.

Amber Manning

I founded AmberCo. when I was five years old. Over the years, it has offered a variety of services from house cleaning, babysitting, car washing, travel planning, interior design and more. After college, I serendipitously fell into working for a web development company and I never looked back. I am happy that AmberCo. has finally settled on a mission that helps people in a meaningful way. I am also happy that some of the original services AmberCo. offered (cleaning and organizing) have carried through into its current iteration. I have been lucky enough to work for significant nonprofits such as the Sierra Club and the International Committee of the Red Cross and small local companies such as Hinkel Equipment Rental and Indars Stairs. My favorite part of working in technology is finding creative solutions for people and making their day to day work easier.
