Description
Join us for this rare peek into some of the most personal and emotional writing in our collections. We’ll start with the aching yearnings of poet and notorious romantic John Keats, signed “yours forever” to the object of his affection, Fanny Brawne. Spend an evening with us as we get up-close and personal with a variety of treasures like handwritten pages from James Joyce’s Ulysses, correspondence from Marlene Dietrich to Mercedes De Acosta, and much more.
About Behind the Bookcase: Hands-on Tours at The Rosenbach
Behind the Bookcase: Hands-on Tours offer unparalleled access to see, and even touch, rare and important items not usually on view to the public. Each program is dedicated to a different author, theme, or topic and grants a truly hands-on experience with materials in The Rosenbach’s inspiring collection.
